Profiling cookies are aimed at creating users’ profiles. They are used to send advertisements in line with the preferences shown by the user during navigation. Profiling cookies are distinguished according to the different entity that installs them on the user’s terminal: the manager of the site that the user is visiting (Publisher) or of a different site (third party) that installs cookies through the first which uses them to increase its functionality.
